Our client, a well-established company, is looking for a Contract SharePoint Specialist/ IT specialist to join their team.

You will manage and enhance our Group Operations' SharePoint site while developing custom web parts and applications using SharePoint Framework (SPFx). This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with department heads and executives, delivering data-driven insights through interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Group Operations' SharePoint site, including content creation, updates, workflows, and permissions management.
  • Create and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces within SharePoint.
  • Design and develop engaging Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics.
  • Analyze data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Document and optimize administrative processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Train and support users on SharePoint and Power BI tools.
  • Act as the primary contact for all inquiries related to SharePoint and Power BI.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a business administration or data analysis role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, including site management and content oversight.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills in both Cantonese and English, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with methodologies for business process improvement.
  • Experience with SQL and database management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and the Microsoft 365 suite is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management is a plus.
  • Good command of English and Chinese is essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
