Join as an IT Support Specialist at a global bank with a well-sized team of skilled professionals! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our endpoint devices run smoothly, including both physical and virtual desktops and mobile devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional user support at both first and second levels.
  • Assist in the management and upkeep of endpoint devices.
  • Implement group policies for configuration and security enhancements.
  • Conduct regular system checks and apply security updates, including Windows patches and hardware firmware.
  • Create scripts to streamline processes through automation.
  • Handle administrative tasks, manage IT asset inventory, and prepare insightful reports.
  • Maintain comprehensive system documentation.
  • Collaborate with vendors for maintenance and service support.

Candidate requirements:

  • Degree or Higher Diploma in IT or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Service Desk and IT support within financial institutions or large organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and common desktop applications.
  • Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Environments, such as VMware Horizon and vSphere.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
  • Knowledge of group policy management and experience with PowerShell scripting to support automation and system efficiency.
  • A customer-focused mindset, strong team player, and excellent communication skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
