Join as an IT Support Specialist at a global bank with a well-sized team of skilled professionals! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our endpoint devices run smoothly, including both physical and virtual desktops and mobile devices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional user support at both first and second levels.
- Assist in the management and upkeep of endpoint devices.
- Implement group policies for configuration and security enhancements.
- Conduct regular system checks and apply security updates, including Windows patches and hardware firmware.
- Create scripts to streamline processes through automation.
- Handle administrative tasks, manage IT asset inventory, and prepare insightful reports.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation.
- Collaborate with vendors for maintenance and service support.
Candidate requirements:
- Degree or Higher Diploma in IT or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Service Desk and IT support within financial institutions or large organizations.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and common desktop applications.
- Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Environments, such as VMware Horizon and vSphere.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
- Knowledge of group policy management and experience with PowerShell scripting to support automation and system efficiency.
