In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, presales, and delivery of our Service Division. You will play a crucial part in ensuring successful project execution, consistently meeting targets for revenue, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your deep expertise in system integration will be vital in effectively coordinating cross-functional teams and driving our vision forward.
Responsibilities
- Establish strategic direction for the service delivery team in alignment with business objectives, mentoring teams to achieve departmental targets.
- Revolutionize and enhance business application services in Hong Kong to address current and future market demands.
- Guide project delivery teams to achieve revenue and profit targets for key client accounts.
- Support the customer solution team during pre-tender, tender, or trial phases to secure new contracts.
- Oversee project directions and managers to ensure timely, cost-effective service delivery.
- Partner with LOBs to ensure qualified resources are available for project needs.
- Nurture strong customer relationships, managing problem reporting, escalation, and resolution.
- Evaluate risks and impacts from customer change requests, addressing downstream implications on services, timelines, and costs.
- Lead the service support team for proactive issue resolution.
- Track budgets and control costs to maximize revenue and margins.
- Provide insights to service and product teams regarding competitive intelligence and innovation opportunities.
- Stay informed on new technologies relevant to the sector and collaborate with LOBs to enhance organizational capabilities.
- Build strong partnerships with key vendors and contractors to meet client needs.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years in the IT industry with substantial project management experience, preferably in the system integration (SI) sector.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate teams, drive performance, and effectively manage stakeholder relationships to ensure project success.
- Familiar with government tendering processes and regulations, ensuring compliance and effective proposal management to secure contracts.
- Proven experience and achievements in large-scale government projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with executive-level personnel and management staff.
- Client-focused with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead multiple teams in delivering robust IT services.
- PMP and ITIL certifications are advantageous.
- Proficient in English and Chinese, with strong communication skills in both languages.
