- Architecture and Design: Architect and continuously evolve the standard operating environment for desktop and laptop PCs, collaborating with hardware manufacturers to leverage Microsoft’s latest advancements while transitioning from domain to Azure-joined devices.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly resolve issues, establish process automation, adapt systems to meet new security requirements, and actively participate in the architecture and design of both new and existing systems.
- User Collaboration: Work closely with users and business units to plan and implement End User Computing (EUC) technology solutions that effectively meet business requirements and drive positive outcomes.
- Vendor Management: Oversee vendors and service providers in solution planning, project deliverables, and technical support activities.
- Scripting Proficiency: Utilize scripting tools like PowerShell to enhance efficiency and automate general administrative tasks in environments such as Active Directory and Office 365.
- Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend technologies that support workplace productivity.
- Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems, applications, and security changes, including upgrades and new EUC implementations.
- Secure Configuration: Configure and uphold secure EUC solutions that align with IT audit requirements and other standards (e.g., PCI).
- Reliability Assurance: Ensure the reliability and availability of EUC solutions to meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Testing Coordination: Conduct successful stress/load tests across on-premises and cloud networks prior to launching new services for business units.
- Knowledge Acquisition: Gather all technical knowledge and implementation details from third-party projects to ensure viable internal support post-production launch.
- Quality Documentation: Ensure that high-quality technical documents are provided by business partners during the implementation phase to support future maintenance.
- Issue Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug issues encountered in both production and non-production environments.
- Standards Specification: Define standards for End User Computing platforms and solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Mobile Device Management, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Intune, PowerShell, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
- Familiarity with Office 365 SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of enterprise Ethernet, VLANs, QoS, routing, switching, and IP addressing is an advantage.
- Experience with Unified Messaging (UM) or voicemail systems is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, ITIL, ITSM, COBIT, or similar qualifications are a definite plus.
- A collaborative team player and self-motivated individual who can work independently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, a systematic approach to work, and proficient communication skills in English are essential.
- Experience in managing external vendors and IT support operations, with the ability to engage effectively with users at all levels.
- Proven capability to perform well under pressure, particularly during business-related crises.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English; knowledge of Chinese, particularly Putonghua, is advantageous.
