Key Responsibilities:
- Perform SAP Basis related tasks, system copy, transport management, apply OSS notes, apply SAP patches, install SAP systems, SAP configuration, etc.
- Perform DB related tasks for the SAP systems, install SQL database, availability replica setup, DB backup and restore
- Perform SAP system server support and patching
- Collaborate with internal users for the system changes arrangements
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for solution planning, service delivery and technical support activities
- Manage the implementation and ongoing support of IT systems related to planning, operation, maintenance of SAP systems, problem troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Participate in system deployment, system cutover/rollout, documentation, maintenance and support
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in SAP NetWeaver ABAP & JAVA systems, Database Server and Windows Server administration
- SAP Certified Technology Consultant certification is preferred
- Knowledge in project and vendor management
- Strong communication skills and teamwork
- Demonstrable commitment to continuous learning
- Proactive, performance driven and result-oriented
- Good spoken and written English
- Hands-on experience or knowledge in any of the following skills would be an advantage
- SAP Solution Manager, SAP WAS
- PowerShell script, SQL scripting, RDBMS (e.g. MS SQL Server, SQL MI)
- Cloud Computing platform such as Microsoft Azure Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, containerization, virtualization and other cloud services
- Professional credentials in ITIL, PMP, COBIT, ScrumMaster, DevOps or relevant disciplines
