My client is a listed software company with global footprint. Due to expansion to the local market, they are looking for a Business Development/ Sales Manager who thrives in a hunting role, and possesses a robust network of connections within the banking, insurance, and securities industries.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and revenue to secure new deals and partnerships with a key focus on banks, insurance companies, and securities firms.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring the cultivation of long-term partnerships.
- Spearhead lead generation efforts to identify and engage potential new clients.
- Actively tracking and managing the sales pipeline, overseeing late-stage contract negotiations, and ensuring successful client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough analysis of the financial industry within your jurisdiction, staying informed about the latest developments and trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree holder with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial industry software sales.
- Demonstrated proficiency in product explanation, customer analysis, pre-bid business communication, and cost estimation.
- Possess a strong local network of financial industry contacts, particularly in information, science and technology departments, and soft open departments at the director level or above.
- Passion for the software industry, with a deep understanding of software product sales, solution services, and other sales processes.
- Good command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
