Role:

The Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for securing both the Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems of the organization. This role involves vulnerability assessment and management, security control design and implementation, security event monitoring and incident response. The specialist should have a deep understanding of both IT and OT systems and cybersecurity risks. He or she should also work closely with other teams to ensure that security controls are integrated into organization's IT and OT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular vulnerability scanning, assessments and security audits of both IT and OT systems to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Perform security evaluation on both IT and OT systems to identify, prioritize and track vulnerabilities with recommendations on mitigation approaches.
  • Recommend security controls on both IT and OT systems and their related assets.
  • Monitor and analyse security events in both IT and OT systems.
  • Conduct regular security reviews to ensure that the organization's IT and OT systems are compliant with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that security control is integrated into IT and OT systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years with hands on technical experience in IT or OT Cyber Security roles.
  • Solid experience in Vulnerability Management with Scanning / Assessment is a MUST.
  • Solid experience in Windows Server system, Linux systems, Virtual Machine, Network administration and monitoring is a definite advantage.
  • Knowledge in industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, ProfiNet is advantageous.
  • Sounds knowledge in IT Security / Network Monitoring / Threat Monitoring.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, project management skills and vendor management skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and capability in both spoken and written Chinese (Putonghua and simplified Chinese) are advantageous.
